I've had my 09 Super Glide Custom about 2 months now. It had 6048 miles when I got it, and I'm at about 8220. Supposedly the dealer did the 5k mile service when it came in on service, but who knows. I know I'm coming up on an oil change soon, but besides that what other maintenance should be done now/soon?
Ride for another 1,500 miles and take it in for service. They will do the 10,000 mile service. If your going to do the service yourself, I think the owners manual has what's done at each service. 1,000, 5,000, etc.
The shop manual has instructions for all the service work.
Best advice I ever got was change all your fluids as often as you can afford!!! I do my oil at least every 2500, tranny and primary every 5000. Mobile 1 V twin synthetic in the motor, Drag Specialty primary oil and Royal Purple in the tranny. Fork oil every 10 K, and clutch, fork and swing arm every 30k.

That wasn't good advice. Your not going to hurt your engine by changing the fluids based on the OE schedual. Only thing your doing is helping the economy.
I'd change oil in all 3 holes, adjust clutch pack and cable for proper play, check critical fasteners and drive belt deflection. Buy the service manual, watch YouTube videos and avoid the stealerships like the plague. Do as much as you can yourself, let a Indy do what your not comfortable with and you will be money ahead. Don't pay a stealership for a glorified oil change
