Default Neck bearings

I just took apart my front end on my 2010 fxdc . After 50000 miles the cheap bearings made in Mexico are etched . Does anyone know if there is a Timken replacement for these bearings ? Also has anyone drilled and tapped into the neck for a grease zert ?

Its a pretty common bearing,
NSK, SKF ***, KOYO, Torrington, NTN,IKO, McGill, ASAHI are all quality bearings you can use...
Timken has them also, but they are made in Mexico .
That is not to say they are bad as they are made to the specs Timken said.
If yo are having a problem, look at water seepage or loose adjustment.

Your frame is hollow, you'll just fill the back bone with grease

Exactly! Do not insert a zert. As long as no water gets in the bearings will wear normally and last a long time.
