How often to you make a change, to later realize to didn't get the look you wanted?
I changed out the mini apes the 2nd day I owned the bike, and put on Harley's Street Slammer bars (7" rise). I really like their look. Earlier this week Ibought a set of bars with the exact same style but a 4.75" rise. I relocated the turn signals so now I can go with the shorter bar, and after lowering the front end 2". I'm thinking this will give the bike a nice low look.
But yesterday I found these bars, and I can get them with a 4" rise.
Have you made any changes that you've later regretted? I hate to waste the money, but if I don't like it, it will bug me.
Real nice bars. Would love to see pics of the bike. I know what you mean about being reserved. My '05 FXD still has stock bars on it. It took me months of research, saving and thinking to decide on Apes or T-bars. Then once I decided on that, it's taken me weeks to decide on what height! Jeezus, what a pain. Anyway, Isettled on 16" x 1.25". that way I can always dump'em on ebay andgo down in height if I need to.Putting them on next wknd! Can't wait!
