Default WG backrest question
Went into the dealer today to look for a back rest for the wife when she gets on the bike of my '13 WG and was quoted a 400 dollar price! I about died.. Is this correct!? The guy claimed I needed a turn signal relocation kit. Is this true? Does anywhere else offer a cheaper option?

I think mine with all brackets was around $200 .

I think mine was around $360. Unless you're going to put saddlebags on, then no, you don't need a turn signal relocation kit.

You'd probably need the same one I have? I was quoted $465 for everything.

You can buy a cushion for your current backrest/sissy bar for around $70. from HD, probably cheaper elsewhere. Am I missing something?

Check out Ebay. Got my detachable sideplates, sissy bar upright, pad and luggage rack for $202

I put the detachable backrest on about 3 months ago, and I remember all the pieces and parts were about $400. the signal relocation kit doesn't actually move them so much as make them stick out further for the quick release brackets
