No one Warned me

I bought a new 'Bob' exactly one month ago. I don't even have it home from the dealer yet and I am already spending money on stuff to add to it. Is this a disease that is curable or am I doomed for all of eternity. Maybe I need a twelve step program.LOL

Doomed! Maybe you can soften the financial blow by buying from Zanotti's or other on-line suppliers. If you manage your addiction properly, you will always have parts coming in while you install the ones you already have. Good way to avoid withdrawals.

Your doomed! Best advice I can give - if you have a significant other, start a seperate account for your bike purchases. I do side work (residential painting/restoration) on the side to cover my addiction. It never ends...

Yup Doomed,

At least my wife works part time for the local dealer, so I get a pretty good break on parts, labor and storage. Just got back from the dealer with a bag full of chrome goodies for the Bob, Hopefully the snow will be gone soon and we can get this season started.

It will soon become part of your budget,, House note, Electric bill, food, gas card. and Harley Stuff.

Doomed AND Addicted - And it's fun, too! No twleve step program will help. Just try not to buy too many of the same type of part while you're making up your mind what you really want. Man, I've got air cleaner covers and tank emblem ideas coming out my ears!

Just take your time and enjoy - but be careful, there are more members here with truly fantastic ideas you won't be able to resist who will be more than happy to feed your addiction!!
