se covered shocks
Someone please help me out. My 1000 service is coming ug within 3 weeks and I want those chrome covered shocks installed. Does anyone have a part # for them? SE parts are not in hd catalog.

I went with the chrome full covered progressive #412 shock..
I ordered 11's but the dealer got in 12's (stock size) and installed them....
He reordered the 11's but refuses to put them on....Something about not being legal which I think is all B/S..
Good lookin chrome on them and they do look like the old Duo _Glides shocks.

thank you. I wasnt aware that progressive made those shock for an 06. I usually check out jp cycles catalog and progressive didnt have any for an 06, just up to 05. I got on their web sight (progressive) and they do have them, thanks again! Ty

Thanks again. American Classic is about 10 miles from my house. I hope its the same one. Its a small harley cycle shop. If you get the chance, let me know if its in Southeast PA.

When the '06's came out, a guy I know, tried the '05 shocks to see if they would fit, and they fit right on...so go for it....as for the dealer not wanting to put the 11 inchers on, f@ck him! Tell him to put the stockers back on, and then use the money for the 11's and go to an independant shop or any motorcycle wrench, and toss 'em on!
