2009 Super Glide Custom -- Any Problems?
Hi,
I'm looking at purchasing my first Harley this weekend -- 2009 Super Glide. Are there any known trouble spots I should look out for when inspecting the bike? I know some models have notorious issues and I'm just trying to cover my bases. I tried a search but didn't have much luck.

good all around bike, traveled from fla to new hampshire , bought it on the cheap, used and abuses..no problems 15000 miles

I just bought an 09 a few months ago and have loved riding it and more so making it uniquely mine. It is a great bike and all around good performer that responds well to minor (stage 1) performance mods.
I sure like it much more than my 07 Honda VTX 1300, and even more then my old 96 softail, I fit better on this than I did on the softail. The newer FI engines are pretty reliable, less tempermental then the old carb'd 80ci, though I do kind of miss the lope of that old cam'd engine.
The best thing about an HD is that they are such an icon and there are so many options for them, and enthusiast like me to share and bounce ideas off, aka this site....you'll be addicted in no time!
