Sounds like he wants to tune the bike Once !I hear ya about him sitting on the bike and not counting on the programmable resistance, If he takes the time to explain as he goes along, it builds credibility between the two of you, Thats a good thing if you leave with the bike and you understand everything that he did. You feel betterabout spending your money with him, and you'll be back ...The last machine I was useing the resistancewas applyed by the rear rollers pushing up on the rear tire with the rear of the bike strapped down to simulate a rider. If the tuner is tuneing each cylinder seperate and not coppying front to rear stay with him. That's where it can get time consuming with the Sert..We charged a flat rate of 199.99 reguardless of time... A good DynoTech is worth his weight in Gold.. Now I have to travel out of state for my Dyno service, if needed... No one local I would let touch my Lawnmower..

Guys, Give these guys a call as well. They are in Frisco. They work on my Shovel and do great work. Many places wont work on the old hds(including the HD dealers)..I guess because they dont know what they are doing.

If you have a performance exhaust and air cleaner, I highly recommend a good dyno tuner to maximize the PCIII capabilities and the bike's performance.

If you have a stock AC and/or exhaust, just use a generic map from DynoTech.

If you choose a good tuner, you won't regret the cost of a dyno tune.

A Thundermax with Auto tune would eliminate the dyno time. It comes with wide band oxygen sensor's. It adjust itself. you can set the rev limiter if you want to change it.
You can order the unit that replaces the factory ecm with the program in it already for yer bike. Then its just a few simple set up steps.
Got one on my bike, ordered one from a indy shop back home and put it on my buddies bike. Now my buddy likes it too. He had a Terry Fuel unit on his bike and it was giving him problems.
