Default 2014 Bob and need help

Traded my 2013 RC in on a new 14 Bob.

Just got it delivered. First thing I did was take down the front turns. I dont like them.
Now im stumped ... I figured I could pull the wires threw the bars and locate the turns lower .. wrong. There is no wires. They are looped in with the switches. And also the trip reset is on the rocker switch that is also the horn.

Now the issue ... no dash cluster functions and no start. Pump kicks on thats it. Head lights work .. rear tails and turns work.

Do the front turns need to be hooked up for the bike to run ??

I am at the point where I am willing to just do bar kit with switches but no one has switches for this dam thing.

Desperate need of help ??

There's wires inside the neck for turns to be moved down. Pull the tank off and pop the dust boots out, you'll see the pigtails.

Sounds to me like you might have popped a fuse.

If you're relocating the signals, you'll need relocation hardware or more wiring. The relocation comes with new connections and wiring that connects to the pigtails 203cree mentioned.

You don't need to pull the tank, you can pop the cover from underneath. You can just unbolt the tank and move it back if you need to.

I think I had that issue with it not turning over .. I left something unplugged. Just double check all your connections and fuses.

Ya I see the pig tails. Will wire them up tomorrow. Fuses are good .. hell there is only 2 and they are fine.
Just dont know why I have no cluster and no start. Wonder if the turns have to be hooked up for these functions to work?? Maybe a safety thing ??

I thought that the security system was dependent on the turn signals being hooked up. I don't remember for sure, but that sound like what happened. Maybe someone else here knows. Good Luck

No security on this bike.
I got the plug kit going to wire up the turns and hope my speedo lights up and bike starts up.
Wonder if this is a loop where its a safty thing that you must run turns.

I already hate the year 2014

Fixed ..

Soooo for you lucky 2014 owners you can not do away with the signals they make a loop. With them disconnected you have no start or speedo light.

Yes there is 2 plugs under the neck to connect to. Harley sells a kit BS price.
Cut and splice .. just as good.

Now to wait for a tuner to go with my V&H pipes and breather.
