Should I/Shouldn't I????
SWEET! SWEET! SWEET! Just got back in. Weather could not have been nicer. Even, the people on the road were in a good mood. Little over 400 miles. The bike ran great, especially since I had the new motor mount installed. Totally differnent bike now. And with the SEII's Big City Baffles, old men on the pouch would wave and guys on the road would roll down their windows to listen to the exhaust. Even had a lady flag me by so I wouldn't have to be in the traffic flow. Needed a good ride for the soul. Only 2 complaints. First, the wife is pissed at me for some reason and second, I become a billboard for every big yellow bug!! I can live with those.
Had a safety meeting last week and one of my drivers had time to go home and ride his Springer to it. The meeting ran a bit later than intended and my drivers left around 7pm. At 7:30 I get a phone call from the driver who rode asking me to please tell his wife that he was at a safety meeting...
Any man can tell you ifyou're going out to play there's NO CHANCE you'll be home by 7:30pm ifyou're up to no good. Some wives/girlfriends don't get it. They see you get dressed for riding and taking out the bike. They then assume that you're up to no good.
That's probably the same thing you're going through.
Hard to explan that the solo trip was good soul therapy! Glad you had a good, safe ride.
