Default Torque Specs

I'm installing forward controls and need the torque specs to button it all back up. Clutch basket shaft nut, compensator...etc everything that needs torqued. I have a service manual ordered and in route but it's late getting here. I would appreciate any information provided. Thanks

Posting your bike's year and model might help to get a quick reply....

Without a manual, I'd google each part ("harley compensator nut torque"), not just for torque, but tips and things to watch out for like left hand threads; some of the parts in that area tighten to the left on some (all?) models, if you don't already know that. Also, at least one of those nuts should have red loctite 262, and I always clean the old off so it won't affect the torque reading going back on. Bunch of how to videos on about everything Harley on youtube, too. Glad you plan to torque them, have had to replace many bolts the previous gorilla had stretched or stripped threads on, and helicoil or drill and tap larger where they didn't understand how soft aluminum is. You can also get download manuals in pdf pretty cheap, easy to find on ebay, I have a few of those. Kind of like them, print out the page I need and not worry about getting it dirty, and can scribble notes on them - also do keyword searches to sometimes find stuff quicker and in sections you wouldn't expect it to be.
