If you're considering a fork brace (most X riders seem to) take a look at Eurocomponents. Very slim; doesn't look like an old cow bone bolted on...when I put one on my T I even hand contoured the underside to match the top of the fender better...

They can be. It's like putting a sway bar on a car. It's noticeable lightly when you corner but the rest of the time you don't really know it's there. They are very helpful with people with extended front ends
