Why yes it is!
I couldn't resist
I picked up a 2001 FXDXT today
No fairing and no bags....but the rest is pretty much there
bike is in overall great shape, needs a little tlc but its going to look great.
Future plans -
FXDXT Fairing
potentially the bags
front fender
T-Bars
Mid mounts with hwy pegs
wrapped t-header
some accessories here and there
and im looking at finally cracking into a motor since I still have my SB to ride day to day - thinking 95" but nothing more in depth
the t-sport already has the screaming eagle intake and a badlander seat, so we have a good start
You could do that reproduction fairing for about 700 (550-fairing +150-windshield) or you could do an original without adjustable windshield for about the same price.
Fairing from new castle harley-185
Windshield from cee bailey-150
Repo bezel-150
Repo mounting brackets-75
Miscellaneous hardware-40
Find a top cover if desired (option I have one)
Then all you need is leather pros bags and you have an almost original t sport. Pm me for info on the repo parts I have a number of someone who I bought from
Throttle Jockey and 07bobber - i know, but this is going to be a long build, im about 99 percent sure its going to be frame up, so she will return to her glory soon enough
Best of luck with the "new" bike. I'm partial to 01's. Ride it as is or restore to it's original glory - whatever you do - have fun and enjoy it cause it's yours.
