The T-Header DOES sound good. But, quality isn't there, IMHO. They seem fragile.
I prefer D&D(have one on my FXR) though, the Dyna is going to get a Pro Pipe. I have used D&D on several bikes, and I haven't been let down yet.

They aren't fragile. I've had mine on since '09, and I've never had an issue other than with the quality of the chrome on the headers. The muffler still looks great after almost 5 yrs.
I paid less than $500 for it brand new, shipped to my door from American Classic Motorcycles in PA. I've checked prices and it's gone up $100 since then. Maybe the manufacturer improved the finish since 2009.
Finish still sucks but performance is awesome and it sounds better that the competition. Depending on how you ride you may have some clearance issues, I also scraped the **** out of my short shots so it is what it is.
Had a TH for 35,000 miles on my previous bike. Loved it and Zero issues. Quality was fine and held up great. Wanted to try something different this time and like the V&H too, but definitely louder than the TH...
I love my Thunderheader. Other exhaust I have had are Bassani, V&H and Pythons. The only exhaust I have ever had a problem with are the Bassani's, which I will never own again.

Yeah, same here. I like the look and sound, I understand performance s good but I've always heard so much negative about the quality of the finish and the cracking issues.
my thunderheader has been on now for 10,000 hard miles. no cracks no leaks and the chrome still looks new. and the sound of it on a big bore with big cams and compression really make a point. the only other pipe i just heard on a big bore that sounded nice was the new rush 2 into 1. i heard at the tuners last weekend. saw alot of big bore bikes out there and most running the supertrapp 2 into 1 that pipe has shown to produce the highest torque numbers on big builds. but u have to like the sound of it.
