The signals are just relocated with chrome smoke covers from Harley. You pop off the existing lense and install these. The air filter is Kuryakyn twin velocity. Its been OK although I have noticed after a long highway ride you get a little oil drip from blow by. As for the pegs, I took the flamed pegs off and installed a standard HD flat rubber with chrome. My foot would slip off the flamed peg. I kept the flamed heel rest and shifter/brake pad to keep that look. I think the flamed peg was OK wiith out the heel rest.
I have an 05 FXDWGI, just put on Vance and Hines Straight Shot HS's. Also installed a Power Commander 3. At first, I had no baffles. The bike was WAY to loud. Sounds great with the baffles, and everyone still knows when I come home[sm=crossbonesgif.gif]
Big Shot Staggered on my '04 also. Can't beat the sound, finish is great. Got them about $350.00 delivered to the door, took me about 2 hours or so to put them on myself. Not too complicated, the only thing I added was a pair of SE stainless steel exhause gaskets, about $8.00 at the local dealer. Loud when you crack open the throttle, not so bad under normal cruising.
The stock head pipes are a good alternative with cheap Cycle Shack slip-on mufflers. I was told they are a better choice for power, but didn't like the whole look. The V&H are lower than the stockers and clear the rear axle nut if you ever have to take the back wheel off. Just a plus.
I too have the Big Shot Staggerds. Got the 3 days ago on my 05 Dyna Superglide. I LOVE THEM! I can tell a difference in performance from my old SEII's Slipons. ANd boy do they make headz turn. Every bike I own will have V&H on them. I dunno what they cost where u live, but mine were $500 installed. Just tellin you so you have a price to go off of.
