Is anyone having issues with their 2013 FLD? I have had the front brakes worked on three times (second time the master cylinder was replaced), map sensor failed, throttle position sensor failed. Vibration issues. Excessive heat off exhaust at my shin. I have 5K miles.

Harley Davidson rejected my request for help.
Thanks.
master cylinder is a common problem, they need to bleed it once or twice then they are allowed to replace the master cylinder..
you dont say what your third time was....
first i have heard of 2 sensors failing like that, does the bike have or has it had any after market electrical acessories connected to it that possibly caused the issue?
vibration can be fixed for $5 with a few small parts from lowes/home depot/hardware store...
the heat you have to deal with due to the catalytic converter in the head pipe ( thank the EPA for that), gut the cat or buy a new exhaust
I've had no issues with my 2013 Switchback. Outside of the excessive heat from the foolish catalytic converter placement. I added XIEDs, the richer F/A ratio did reduce the heat somewhat but I'm willing to bet the heat coming off the CAT is going to be an issue next season in the hot weather.
I've been considering taking the plunge of gutting the cat material or just getting a new exhaust.
Had an issue with front brakes, rotated master cylinder so that it was level front to back. Filled with brake fluid, no more problem. As stated cat causes heat get rid of it. All Harley's vibrate, part of the engine design single crankpin...
Thanks all. Third issue with brakes was leaking master cylinder cover. Don't want to scrap and replace exhaust because then it voids exhaust warranty and dealer said HD will try to associate any type of future engine problems with change in exhaust.
1HD1C no I have not added anything electrical aftermarket. I was told definitely stay away from adding heated gear acces to bike.
Please share how to fix vibration. Some is fine but when I can't adjust my mirrors while sitting still - it needs calmed down a little
I do love how this bike handles. Rode it from GA to Key West via east coast line this summer and as long as I was wearing my 1/2 chap heat was tolerable. Now slow go in traffic was tough.
Yes, they are building sub-par bikes but don't care anymore. The cheap fix didn't stop my vibration plus the front end clangs somewhere when you hit bumps. Tightened up the gas tank bolts but now it sounds like a motor mount. Got the brake fixed after 3 long trips to the dealer an hour and a half away. Voltage reg. recall was another trip.
No issues with the brakes. Fixed most of the vibes with the pin fix. I get the same noise when I go over bumps or railroad tracks. I plan to find it this winter.
I have not had those issues, vibrations yes but did the Clevis pin fix and added VH slip ons and the noise went away, as most have said the CAT is the heat issue, Im waiting till spring to see if Uncle Sam is giving anything back this year before I plunge into a full exhaust
