I know this may have been ask before but I need some advice on slip on's for my 2013 Wide Glide. I was thinking of just getting Screaming Egales but due all so like VH's too.
I understand the appeal of of slip-ons. They cost less and can get a decent sound with a 15 minute install. Just keep in mind that the WG and FB shotgun exhaust have the catalytic converter in the collector. You'll end up with the same factory exhaust flow restrictions if you only install slip-ons.
That said, the Rush slip-ons have a much better, throaty sound than the SE slip-ons.
Find a cheap used set of slip-ons or just go with a full exhaust system. The price of a full system is only about $200 more depending on what you get.
I do have a set of SE Slip-ons I would let go for cheap plus shipping. Had them on my WG for about two months. I bought them used myself. Suffice it to say, didn't change the exhaust note all that much. With the CAT in place, slip-ons are really just a waste of $$$.
I had SE slip-ons on my 07 Street Bob for a little while then switched them to V&H. There was a huge difference in sound and I was really happy with the change. I'm expecting to go to a full system in the next year or so but until then…
Normally I would suggest slip ons because I have Vance & Hines Straight Shot slip ons on my bike and really like them. They have a nice sound. But since you have the catalytic converter I would suggest getting a full exhaust so you can get rid of the cat.
Get the full exhaust now or spend more later when you replace the overpriced slip ons.
I would suggest a 2-1. I have the V&H propipe and love the sound and performance.

You don't have to overpay for slip ons or any other exhaust. I got my Vance & Hines Straight Shot slip ons used in the hdforum classifieds in new condition for $100 shipped. They normally retail for around $300.
Shop around,
I had to replace my 2 into 1 because it cracked at front of the combustion chamber and was shot so i looked on Ebay and found a new $560.00 system for $300.00.
2 into 2 but no biggie, I love the sound. price was right.
can't really notice the power loss of 2 into 2.
Acutually love the hot rod sound. Freedom Performance Patriot LG Exhaust Slash Cut Chrome HD00058 Harley Dyna 06 +
