With my build I keep hearing a 2 into 1 would be a better option than the V&H Big Radius dual I have now. I found a guy with a set of Sideburner 2 into 1 at a decent price. Anyone have experience with them and do they even have enough collector length to add any performance value?
I like the looks of mine, but if they are costing me 10% in power or so I'll look for something different and sell these.
I will say this. I've ridden plenty of hot-motor bikes running 2-2 pipes. I don't think you'll be begging for more power at any point in your rev range.
A good 2-1, due to what a lot people refer to as back pressure (actually more dynamic than the canned description), will increase torque in the lower rev range by as much as 3 or 4 percent. The entire first half of the range will come on a bit smoother. This comes at the cost of 2 or 3 percent of your top end HP.
Honestly though, with your compression, porting and cams, your motor is a beast that won't embarrass you with duals.
One thing you might consider, may have already, the same performance mods will make for a lot of exhaust noise. If that's a concern, a 2-1 will give you more options for taming the noise.
I had that pipe on my old Honda VTX 1300 and loved it, don't know how it will perform on the HD though. You might need some exhaust cones with it... as they are pretty much unrestricted flow.

Don't know where you got 10% but unless it is a pro street build I doubt you will loose that much.
It takes some serious power to be able to notice a pipe difference. Dyno yes you will see it but feeling it that is something else.
100hp= 10 hp loss, closer to 2-4 hp difference.
We tried a 2 into 1 on our SS106 went back to the big radius.
The 2 into 1 did help low end but the engine was a higher rpm bike
