The plates only kit only works if you've already got a full trigger lock kit. It allows you to use multiple fairings/windscreens on the same bike.

This came in today. Decided to mount it up and ride a little before I have it painted. Trying to be smart and make sure I like it before its Charcoal Pearl.

I think it looks pretty sharp. I actually like all the quarter fairing, they all have plus and minuses too but most of that comes down to personal preference so no big deal.
I have the HD and I say I could improve it if they'd let me. For it to be better it needs to be 2" taller on top. They should start from the middle, left and right, and then graduate it larger to reach the 2" taller point. A little more coverage isn't going to detract from it's svelteness, for God's sake HD, it's already a bikini fairing, how's about making it more functional
But, it's a hell of a lot better than without one, don't get me wrong.

So then, you should see the fit of the plexiglass that goes over the headlight, good God, it is absolutely ridiculous. I swear, it was made by Skilcraft or Lighthouse for the Blind (and only those who have served in the military know what I'm talking about). I have the most atrocious _ucking gaps you have ever seen, it is down right obscene. I'm thinking about taking a heat torch to it to try to form it better, it is that bad.

But, the flip side is, I wanted a fairing that did have a cover over the headlight so has not to have the cupped effect that your fairing has. I wanted this mainly for aerodynamics and to reduce the amount of bugs I have to clean off of it. What I also liked about the HD fairing is it gave me more privacy in the screen area so when I come up with a bag for that spot it won't stand out for lurkers and thieves as much. Yes, I know, I have paranoia issues, I'm already over that.

So, something to think about. The fairing looks fine, it really all comes down to personal preference in what you like.

Yeah, I like it's shape, if it were me I would paint the screen too. That way if you have a bag there to stash stuff it's just not quite as visible.

Damn if that isn't a sharp looking bike

P.S. Man o man am I jealous, look at the beautiful cacti across the street, ain't no beauty like the SW, gorgeous, gorgeous!

question ? I use a windshield on quick release clamps, I like the fact that I can move it up or down on the forks higher in bad weather lower in good weather, you would not be able to do that with a fairing, I think the Harley fairing with the headlight cover would give you better coverage because of the headlight cover, is there a way to mount the Harley fairing with the same clamps and compared to a windshield how does it block the wind that comes up under the tank, would like to swap them back and forth

Looks great on your bike, I might have went with that instead of the conley's if that had been available!

Thanks I am really happy with it. Went for a quick ride and I can already tell it takes a lot of wind off the chest. Just gotta get it painted. 12" West Coast MX-Tbars will be here Monday. Can't wait to get those on!

Any chance of pics from the side with the bars straight and the same from the front? Curious to see the direct profile and a straight forward shot without the bars turned to the side. I love my Gauntlet, but I like this one as well, and since I already have the mounting kit I might pick one up and swap every now and then.
