Default thunderheader on a switchback

just got a 2014 switchback.dealer installed a vance&hines 2into 1 slip on. it is no where near as loud as on the video they showed me. has anyone put the thunder header slip on thundercones on and how do they sound . i have searched for a different bafflefor my v&h with no luck. iknow the thunder header sounds good on my 98 evo

I agree..... With the CAT baffling the exhaust before the muffler the bike is really limited as to how loud it'll get with only a slip-on.

You could find a pre '09 set of headers that never had cats in them in the first place. Probably cheaper. I know I still have my original 2007 headers sitting in the garage.

thanks for all the info. its been so long since i bought a new bike i didnt think about the cats.if i change the head pipes will i have to change the settings on this fuel system again?the dealer reprogramed something when they changed the pipes and air cleaner.
