Am considering Progressive Suspension for my SuperGlide. How do I choose what is most appropriate?

What are your needs? 2 up a lot, solo, performance and cornering, slamming it while maintaining some sort of comfort, etc?

For racing performance or to handle speed i woukd consider buying race tech they seem to be the highest rated and suggested brand buy also expensive as well. Well if you buy the rear ones that is

Front ? Rear? Both?

A lot of options depending in the previously asked questions.

What's the budget?

I wouldn't consider progressive...much better choices. How good do you want it and how much are you willing to spend to get it that way?

Always ride solo...removed stock 2-up seat, replaced with Mustang solo. Have heard that Performance brand shocks would improve ride and handling at same time. Don't ride hard, but occasionally get after it.

Price isn't necessarily of priority, but a consideration. What brands are better, and for what reasons?

Is replacing front and back at same time important?

You don't have to do back and front together, but improvement at one end will definitely expose flaws at the other end.

Look at the Works Performance Tracker shocks for good quality at a somewhat reasonable price. If money is no object, go with Ohlins shocks.

For front springs, consider two things.
Ricor Intiminators.
New springs from:
Traxxion (single rate, more aggressive, firm)
Race Tech progressive rate springs (a bit more forgiving for day-to-day average riding, but still a performance setup.
Progressive Suspension progressive rate springs. Good for touring, average riding.
