I've never seen anything that proves there is any advantage. In fact, the factory wires are designed to provide anti-knock sensing. I don't know what your bike is and if this would apply but it's something to consider.
You can look into the Screamin Eagle wires, which come in colors other than black. If you're looking to change the look this would work for you.

Forgot to mention I ride a 2011 FXDF. If there's no noticeable difference I might consider switching to the SE ones if I get a good deal on them. The red ones do look kinda cool lol
I got the orange SE ones after the Accel wires that are supposed to work with EFI started throwing codes. I didn't see the 100 HP increase either. For $18, the SE wires are a steal.
I went with the Red SE wires because I liked the look.
Everything I read says there will be no noticeable difference when you switch wires. They may very well make a difference for racing applications where 1/1000 of a second can make a difference, but we would never feel the difference.
I went with Scott Performance 8mm wires because, well, they have my name all over them, lol. Yes, there was no noticeable difference in them either way.
