Well tracked it down to the fuel pump. I think. When I hit the on button I get 12 volts to the wires that plugs into the pump.

So turned out it was the system relay. Found a old thread on here with the exact same system as my bike had. So for 15 bucks a replaced starter and system relay. Problem seems to be gone.

I went into the dealer to pick up the relays and talked to one of the techs. Expanded what was going on and first thing out his mouth was systems relay. Apparently these thing go bad pretty often. Wtf.

Like I said you have a bike that shakes, heat, and exposure add time and you have a recipe for this. No biggie cheap fix just keep an extra with you and check/clean your fuses often.

It stops corrosion not parts failure. Who knows where the relay was made. **** happens. Glad you got er fixed.
