Default GPS power cable routing

2011 FXDC SuperGlide

I found one of these contraptions to run power to a handlebar mounted Garmin Nuvi..... from the battery SAE leads. (where I plug in a batt charger)

http://www.leadermotorcycle.com/usb-...i-micro-apple/

Any suggestions on where to route the cable from the battery leads to the handlebars so the cable won't melt or burn?

Run them along with all the other wires from under the seat to the neck in the frame, easy enough to do. Use a electricians fish tape or something similar to pull them through.

This would be a better option for the adapter, especially if you mounted your connection, the flexible pigtail would make life easier.

Bingo......that setup looks good and I like it.
And about $30 bucks less than Leader, with the outrageous shipping charge of $11 bucks!!

How did that shipping from Hong Kong China work out? Transit time?

Here are a couple more, I haven't ordered it yet. Both in the US, didn't realize the other was China, I usually check the US only option.
