Default Handlbar question

Been looking for new handlebars for my 03 wide glide. Does this model have wiring running thru the bars? I don't see any but thought I'd be safe and ask first. I'm looking for something that will use my factory wiring without having to cut and splice. Pullbacks of somesort about the same height or a little shorter than the factory mini apes. Any suggestions and pics? Oh ya, Happy New Year to all of you!!

I'm really not being a wise-*** here. You could look at your bike and see if the wires are run internally.

No the wires are not internally wired from the factory, unless someone changed it in the past, as for the control wires there is plenty, you will need to pull it out of the backbone if you need more length, I am not a fan of the cut and spliced wires, I would take the time to remove the connectors and feed the wire internally then re-install the connectors, makes for a nice clean factory lookand solder joints to worry about breaking or corroding

I agree. The tool to push the pins out of the connectors isn't expensive either.

I've found that the small screwdriver in an eyeglass repair kit works well, is cheap and can be found most anywhere. Taking the wires out of the plugs is easy and you can find videos on Youtube of exactly how to do it.
