So I talked to dan today, at traxxion, and he talked me into the .95kg springs. He also said the spring length would be 365mm since I was going to be running intiminators. I trust his judgement much more than my own but does anyone have any opinions on that setup? Also has anyone heard of the Bitubo shocks he sells? He compares them to Ohlins and they are only $550 for the shocks without the piggyback
never heard of the shocks. Are they designed for a sport bike or a harley?
I think that set up he reccomended will work well. It may be a little light for your weight but if you never bottomed out with the stock one it will work.
How long did he say it would take for you to get them?

He said they have been designing dual shock set ups for 30 years for road racing so I'm assuming they are designed for sport bikes.
I've never had the stock end bottom out, it just wandered all over the road... He said it would be about 2 weeks to get them because they have to make them.
might be getting close to when i need to look into the forks (bike has 80,000)
i have the ricor sport 12.5, good shock and good customer service, i blew my seals and they repaired them for free and i missed them while they were gone because i was using stock shocks
i also have the intiminators with stock springs and stock uncut spacers and it works really good
like i said, it is about time to inspect inside the forks, look at the seals etc. when i do i could be talked into better springs

I have no experience yet to back this up, but springs are pretty affordable and I've read/have been told can make a huge performance increase. 80k I would imagine is time for some work on our ancient front ends... I will definitely update when I get everything put together...
I've got the .95 springs on my application ... I'm about 10 or 15 lbs lighter than you (depending on which one of us is lying -- J/K) ... so, will probably work for ya ...
I was leaning toward the 1.0 kg ... but, it was a toss up and I went with the .95s ...
