Default Ness fairing

I got my Ness fairing put on a couple of weeks ago & had a rare New Years day off. Went for about a hundred mile ride with friends today & all I can say is I'm really glad I bought it! I really didn't think it would do much other than look good, but I was impressed with the way it actually worked! No more flapping cheeks & neck! Still get lots of wind in my face, but it actually blocks a lot of it. Plus my new shocks & racetech front end really make this thing feel like a new bike!

I like the fairing with those bars..
Do you have a pic from the side so I can see how far you have the bars rolled back?
I have the Ness fairing and t-bars but I keep thinking about going with the exact setup you have there.

Here you go, best I could do right now. I've actually got em pushed forward, not rolled back.

Thanks. Yeah, I like it a lot. Good power through every gear and while it's not a super aggressive cam, you can hear it's got one in there.

You're welcome. I almost went with t-bars, but happy with the choice I made. The guy that put the fairing on is also the one that installed the bars. I had him install polly bushings in the risers when he installed the fairing because there was some slight movement with the stock bushings. These things are rock solid now!

I think you're gonna like it. Like I said, the wind still hits my face like before, but it channels just enough of it away from it where I don't have Jell-O cheeks anymore. LOL

Is there any buffeting? I need a windshield after today's ride against a headwind but hadn't a Ness fairing up until now.

Does it come with quick release clamps or is it permanenly mounted? Where'd you get it from and what'd it run ya?
