Going to the Washington D.C. International Motorcycle Show on Saturday. Can't wait to get a look at all the new stuff coming out from all the big companies, especially the new 750 and 500 Harley's.

Damn it, it's like 500+ miles from me and the wrong direction for the weather. I don't know what they can't do these things in May.
I used to go to the Tokyo International Motorcycle Show every year and always made an event out of it. Take some pictures for us.
Do you have any albums online from these shows?! I'd like to see 'em!
Online? No, but I think I can dig up some shots.
My favorite show was 1999 when Yamaha unveiled the MT-OS as a prototype. I told myself I'd get one if they built production. In 2005 I had one of the first. Incredible bike. 110 ft/lbs of torque stock. 525 lbs and awesome brakes. I loved that bike.

Beautiful Dachshund. We've got 3 of the clowns here. Our Bubba was supposed to be a English Cream, but turned into a beautiful shaded cinnamon color.

That's Hobson, our little snob (and the undisputed boss of our 70 LB American Bulldog.) Hobson was three in that picture. He's 11 now. Still has the same energy.
It's funny, we were living in Tokyo and my wife begged for a dog. When I was a kid, a friend who bred the little beasts had one long haired dog out of several litters. I always wanted to find one. We found him at a breeder outside of Tokyo, brought him home, then learned that long haired dachshunds were the most popular dogs in Japan. You couldn't swing a dead octopus without hitting one. Needless to say, he's a bit unique stateside. The smartest dog I ever met.
Wonderful dogs. Very intelligent, very funny & LOYAL. Our 2 males (long hairs) are litter mates & a bit over 6 y/o. Our short hair piebald female (5 y/o) rules the roost & is "queen of the daddy man".
Little bastards are too smart by half & WILLFUL. Can't imagine life w/o a couple of the little carpet sharks underfoot. lol...
