Sold my modded FXDXT and am now on an 08 FXDF...not the T for sure but a competent handler non the less. Has anyone here put a Tru-Track or Sputhe on an FXDF? Dramatic change? I'll be keeping the 16" tires BTW
I put the True Track on because I was getting rear wheel wobble(feels kinda like a flat tire) when I was cornering hard - well TT solved that problem! Nice to not to worry about that wobble anymore but if you don't have any issues I would skip it.

I kind of had this philosophy for a while, but I realized that I'll have more than $1000 in suspension (that's with used Ohlins from Swuidhead.). I'm now thinking that the extra $350 toward a stabilizer is a good thing.

Don't get me wrong - I have no regrets whatsoever on installing the TT, I just have heard too many people state that they have never had any handling issues even when pushing it, so my point is if you are happy then skip it but if you have some handling problems especially during cornering, the TT is awesome.
By the way, nice job on Rooti's grip issue, Good info you put out

I just went through the throttle issues myself. Just sharing my 2 cents.
Regarding the Stabilizer, I think there is a wide range of what people call "pushing it" in corners. On the Dyna, I hustle through twisties, but I don't put myself or my $25k+ bike on the edge like I would in SuperMoto. But at the same time, I would like the satisfaction of knowing my bike is complete in the setup.
I agree with this totally. I don't ride my Dyna anywhere near as hard as I used to ride my sport bikes at the track, or the street for that matter. But the Dyna's shortcomings are exposed at a relatively low ( IMO ) threshold, therefore when money is available ( I've been waiting for yrs at this point )I will be doing the typical upgrades.

I'd wait a bit to see how the new front mount from Vibra Technics does. It's due for release this month. The guy who designed it is supposed to be sending me one to try out and review soon.
