Got the stand back, and attached a pic of the tab. He did a great job. Very clean.

If anyone's interested, he said he would be happy to do anyone else's. Doesn't mind the shipping , and seemed like a really good guy. He was very reasonable and got it done quickly. Just PM for his name and email.

Gonna install it back on in a little bit. I'll take pics.

Every once in a while there is a parking spot that is sloped and it feels sketchy, but you can usually adjust your bike some and you're good. When I check oil, I just put a block under the stand. Not a problem at all.
With the 13" rear shocks in the rear, are you or other guys adding heavier springs or anything to compensate the front? I'm hoping to go taller soon on my 10 FXDF since it drags worse than my Electra Glide.

Hello everybody.
Please, regarding to my English level, I haven't well understood and need some help.

I have the new 2015 fxdl. Installed 13" shocks.

I have baught a FXDX kickstand. With it, will it solve the problem or I need also to add some metal on it ?
Thank you. Regards,
Philippe - France.

Dear FXR ,
First of all, thank you for having taken time to answer and give advice. I have already baught such a block. In fact, i don't want to modify my stock kickstand because if one day i sell the bike, i would prefer to sell it stock. The buyer may be could prefer the genuine 12" shock size. The kickstand would be bad with two holes. So for that, i have baught a fxdx genuine kickstand that is suppose to be longer or with a different angle. This i haven't well understood...
Well, my question is:
If i fix this fxdx kickstand on my 2015 fxdl equiped with 13" shocks, will the bike be less lean or not at all? If yes: problem solved. If not, i could fix the block under the fxdx kickstand and keep the stock one as it is. Also another solution, to add 1/4" of metal as it is shown in the post.
Thank you to you Fxr and may be also to others bikers. Philippe.

Anyways, I put the stock one back on. I'm gonna have to figure out something else. Either attach a block underneath or find a way to put a shim in.

Funny when I was installing the shocks this never even crossed my mind.
If i understand, the fxdx jiffy is useless? But why? How it is that it fit well with 13.5" genuine shocks on fxdx and not on other dynas? Same frame! I don't understand at all where is the problem. So it seems that i have baught a fxdx kickstand for nothing. Or, I will fix the block on this fxdx jiffy and keep mine in case of one day I sell the bike.
Not very clear and no precise answers to that post. May be i don't understand everything.
I supposed the fxdx jiffy would be ok because of its different and more open angle, but yzzyryder said: no difference at all ! Strange. Anyway thanks to all of you. Will try same question in a french site. Who knows... Lol.

You could try doing a search here or maybe start a new thread. This one is about 1.5 years old. Cheers!
