And by painting the area around the headlamp black, you get a tinted look without tinting the lens. With all the "I didn't see him" left turn idiots out there, I prefer keeping my front end as bright as possible. I also have the black Daymaker headlight, so it looks even blacker.

don't know... I bought mine used and it was already painted gloss black....which is great for me because I am getting rid of my black denim paint very soon...going gloss black with flames(most likely) it comes unpainted from Harley or I believe they will color match it for you for a price$$$$$
