I've been considering an HD Quarter Fairing, but I've never really looked at one up close in person... I have an HD Super Sport windshield with quick release clamps, but it buffets too much for me (and I've tried moving it up and down to find the best spot). I'm not looking for a ton of protection really, but I think the fairing is nice looking and if it took a little bit of the blast off my body in the 70-80mph range I would be happy. I'm thinking about using one with the Bung King 39mm adapters for the quick release clamps, since I have a set. I like to be able to remove stuff from my bike without leaving hardware, so it's only because of the availability of the Bung King brackets that I'm considering this fairing.
Here are my questions:
Does the glass lens interfere with the headlight distance/pattern in any way?
My headlight is top mounted. Will that work with this fairing, or do I need to mount it differently?
If the headlight can be top mounted, can I retain the stock visor, or will that interfere with the fairing?
My hope is that I can unclamp it and have the bike look the same as it does now. I usually ride without a windshield or fairing, but would use it here and there.
Thanks!

Reason: spelling
Don't know about how your headlight is mounted, but I replaced the lens that came with the fairing for one from cee bailey, the HD one was a very poor fit. In my experience the light beam isn't as wide now, but I overcame that issue by adding a light bar.
Sorry I can't be more help.
OK, got my bracket from Bung King and 4 quick release clamps from HD. Looking at the instructions it seems it requires special hardware too. That, I don't have.
Instructions list a shoulder bolt, 2 Belleville washers, and a cup washer spacer as being needed for each clamp. No part numbers listed.
Anyone know part numbers for these items?
Thanks!
Edit- found it. Part number for whole hardware kit is 58790-04, one kit per clamp of course.
