I don't want to hijack the thread, so.. I'll start search, it out, and if no luck, start a new one.

Ha! "Tall" on a sub is like 5'8". Anyone over 6 feet walks with a permanent stoop or has scars on his head.

I'm 5'7" and like 11" total rise. My R6C's were the 8" holey rollers that I put on 3" risers. My t-bars are 10" on a 1" extension.

Really? I went to a "C" school back in '99 and all the FTs were 6ft or taller. I always thought that was ironic. I'm 5'8". I preferred street fighters and bobbers. So, adapting to a more laid back style is difficult to swallow. I haven't put any serious miles on the stock SB bars. BUT, they're position doesn't feel bad. Anyway, I really need to start my own thread.. Research is concluded, time to start asking...

OP, sorry for the hijack.

my 14" went on with the stock cables. i like the handling of the taller bars and highway comfort is still great, no fatigue what so ever.
