Winter, time for improvements
So the tins are off...time to do something about the bad factory rust proofing. Fenders and tank removed for repair and paint.
At the same time I will make my Wide Glide even more mine and not so much everyone else's, with a little "extra" added top the new glossy black paint. Will strip the lowers and polish the aluminum, as well as new bullet signals in the rear....
Will be finished in February, so can keep riding every month of the year.....

Looks good. I lived in PA until I was 25, & hated the freakin winters. 41 years in NoCal with outstanding year around riding. I feel for you guys.

Thanks guys.. it is definitely a labor of love...and yeah winters here are tough...this year is unreal in comparison to the last five, but nothing compared to my youth in Philly. The last few years I could ride through the winter at least some. But looks like I picked good year for a tear down of sorts.
I have even gone so far as to do something about the stains on the engine cooling fins. LOL...hand labor is good for the soul. :-)
