You won't regret that choice, I've got a couple PVs for my bikes and love them. Buying from FuelMoto, as the others mentioned, gets you a tune for your bike that you can use to AutoTune and really dial it in for your particular set up. My bikes all have only minor upgrades (air cleaner, pipes, etc) so I've never really had any need for the AutoTune Pro, the Basic that device will do out of the box has always yielded good results.

The other big plus with the PV is any time you change a component it's as easy as plugging in your PV and doing a couple AT runs and you're tuned. That's great for those of us with ADHD who like to change pipes and/or air cleaners every few months lol

Thanks for all the advice here - I just pulled the trigger on PV myself and can't wait to have it arrive.
Question - I believe I read that you can store your original settings on the unit and revert back to it at any time by reflashing the ECU - is this a good thing to do prior to bringing the bike in for any warranty issues as HD can be a stickler at times if you don't use their stuff - IE: SEPST (not that I have any current issues, just asking for future knowledge)

Yes, it will save your original calibration automatically, you can also copy the current map. You can always go back to day one, no worries.

If you are using wide band auto tune you are better off with a power commander V that can make afr changes in real time. As far as I know, the Powervision cannot do this. It can only log the data, then has to wait for you to apply it. It doesn't do real time AFR changes based on sensor feedback to target afr values.

the stock ecu will automatically make small adjustments to afr on the fly once the table has been loaded from the power vision.
