I know someone out there's got a Street Bob with the HD P pad I'd like to see a picture so I can get an idea how it looks. The wife would like the option of being a passenger occaisionally on short trips when she doesn't feel like riding her own bike.
If you go to my gallery I have the sundowner pad on my bob. Sorry but I'm pretty dumb about the picture thing. go to picture gallery and sort by user name "oldsporty1" there are 4 pictures with the pad.
Are you talking about the one that attaches to the solo seat you have? If so it huge and ugly. IMHO. I'll see if I can find a pic to post. I bought one when I first got the bike. Very ugly but comfortable for the girlfriend when we ride, but that is the ONLY time that it is on there.
Heres the one I'mabout to take off and sell its the MOCO one. If you might be interested let me know and I'll give you the ebay link when the time comes.
Damn, those things are huge thanks for the pics guys I think I'll look elsewhere.I'm not looking to tour with a passenger just want the capability to haul one a couple miles or so.
I wasn't digging the way the pillion looked either. That is why I went with the Wide Glide seat. The pillion looked like a deployed airbag sitting on the rear fender. If I wanted the air bag behind me, i would still be with my first wife.
my suggestion then is to go with the suction pad seat AKA the lickem and stickem seat. They are a little oricey for what you get but it does seem more the seat your after. One word of advice though you really really need to keep that pad clean and rinse it before you use it because it will kill some paint.
