As much as I disliked the issues it caused with my ABS unit, the V&H Big Radius 2-1 had an awesome deep rumble. It wasn't obnoxiously loud either, but my wife and neighbors said they could feel its rumble through the walls when I came home at night.
If you don't like its shape, I'm sure the V&H Propipe has a similar rumble, but I've never heard it in person.
If you look in the picture, you'll see that little inverted triangle thing under the battery. To the rear of that is the mount for the ABS module. The passenger peg spacer that came with the pipe caused the peg mount to crash into that mount. I couldn't figure out where the metal on metal feeling was coming from until the peg mount started flopping around because one of the bolts broke inside the swing arm. I had to have it drilled out and tapped.
The first time I heard the V & H Pro-Pipe I stopped in my tracks. "Music To My Ears" I said out loud. My good friend looked at me and said, "That doesn't sound at all like a Harley is supposed to sound and it looks weird". Then a Dyna with V & H Slip-Ons went by. He looked at me and said, "THAT is what a Harley is supposed to sound like and look like."

One more question, if I change the headers out to a full system, will I need a tuner? I know the dealer stage 1 dowload is done for the SE air cleaner. I'm guessing it may need a tweak if I'm increasing the exhaust flow with no cat. Or, should I just install and see how it runs. Thoughts?
Whatever pipes you get, you can make the tone even deeper with the Thunder Torque Inserts. In addition to getting a deeper tone, they will bump your low and mid range power.

Looks like 1" washers welded to bolts, increase back pressure enough to pick up l ow end torque... I've seen this before hmmmm.
Well I decided on the Rinehart Chrome Cross Backs, got a great price on eBay for them. I'll update how they sound, maybe try my hand at the video clip thing. They should arrive today. Along with some new pegs, grips and mirrors and new seat from SickSaddles, I'm making her mine. I'll post some pics when I can. May actually be too cold here in South Eastern PA to work in the garage.
