That's where I am , I like the way the santee bars fit the bike I just don't like the width of them,I wish the were as wide as the forks

i don't like my hands to far apart, i have better control of the bike with them closer together. may last two bikes were a kawasaki meanstreak and a 1200c sportster, hands were closer together from those two. to wide and i thinnk you'd be working your shoulder's more in turns than your wrist's, just guessing. know anyone who's bike you could test ride with them on?
