I have santee bonanza fat bars on my bike now, they are 14". I bought carlini evil apes on e bay for a great deal, they are 17". When I got them they were a kettle scratched up, so I refinished them, now they are like new.now I can't decide on keeping the santee's on the bike or switching them with the carlini apes? Hmmmmm what to do??
I have put a lot of work into the carlini bars Rock! That's why I am kinda leaning towards them, but still a little undecided! Blueangle73 to answer your question yes I will be selling which ever bars I decide not to install on the bike.here are some pics of both
Carlinis hands down imho...personally i dont like how the santee bars flow...carlinis will line up near perfect with the width off the trees too...either way im sure you will be happy
The Santee bars are 14" and the Carlinis are 17", right? I realize different companies' bars don't always measure out the same but given the different nominal sizes, will one set of bars be more comfortable for you? I found that moving from 8" T bars to 12" T bars provided me with much more comfort. If I was a different height, the 8" bars might have been better.
i like the look of the 14's better, seem to add more style to the overall look. the 17's just look to tall and out of place with the lines of the curves of the bike. IMO

That's what I was thinking..I like how the carlinis are the same width as the forks..

I guess comfort would be my first consideration.
That's true the santees measure 14" but end rise is about 11" carlinis are a true 17".when I mounted them on the bike to see how it would look I sat on it and my hands are a little above my shoulders, which I think would not bother me the santee bars are are just below my shoulders.I have rode with the santee bars going on 7 months and they seem to be comfortable
