i like the new ones
looks good
i like those sharp corners for sure
i got mine for $60 already powder coated to match my bike
a friend bought them drilled them for wires, had them PC then sold his dyna before he even put them on
i think they are Yaffe bars 1"/ i would have perfered the 1 1/4" but cant pass that deal up
Thank you guys for the pictures, help and advice! I think I have decided to go with the Fred Kodlin Bonanza bars, I found some pictures of there bars mounted on some sweet custom Street Bobs and they flow with the front end nicely! Now I just need to find a US dealer that actually has there original medium bonanza bar and not just the low bonanza fat bar.
You know the carlini evil apes are almost identical to the Kodlin bar except for the girders welded by the top. I myself am 5'9" and the Carlini Evil Apes 14" are perfect for me, I also lowered my bike and put a lepera bare bones on it. It is the most comfortable bike I have rode. It fits me perfect. Carlini makes quality stuff, Road6 customs in my opinion are junk. I installed the 8" holey rollers on my wife's bike, and they were a pain to run the wires internally. Where the joints are welded the 3/4" pipe protrude on the inside. This makes it very aggravating to buy something and modify it when it's brand new. Just my experience.
Hell Hound, do you have any pics of what those Yaffe bars look like mounted, maybe from the rear without the fairing blocking some of it. Sorry for being picky, I am interested in Yaffe's Monkey Drag Bars and those look similiar.
Yeah I have to agree they don't quit look right. Maybe if they were taller they might pull it together but the short height just doesn't do it. I put 14" Santee narrows on my wifes FXDC and they follow the lines of the forks real nice.
I'm currently looking at Handlebars and I found the website wild1inc.com, which seems to have some awesome stuff. I've also been emailing them and they've been pretty helpful. In the spirit of double checking everything, I wanted to see if anyone knew how high I could go with stock cables and wires? Let me know what ya think!
