Currently have some 15" Santee Bonanza II Apes that I bought off of a forum member here but the ride is not that great. I am 5'9" and want some apes that will be more comfortable. My requirements are narrow bottom to fit the front forks look, have to be black, at least 15", and better pullback than the santees. The Santees also have a huge downturn by the controls that seems like it would cause issues over time with the brake reservoir so more traditional style bars would make sense to me. Anyone have any suggestions/pictures of some comfortable apes that meet those requirements. I would hate to keep purchasing bars over and over again to find the right ones. Makes more sense to me to seek out some knowledge here.
Look at Burly? Here's their 14" Narrow on my bike (they do a 16" as well).
Not much drop, but not sure what you mean by "better" pullback. These seems to have about the least pullback I could find in a set of apes, which is exactly what I wanted. Much more natural wrist angle for me.
