In case anybody is wondering i have 9" FM risers and Pro taper bars on my SB. Stock cables work fine with plenty of slack. If you go 11" or above you will need new cables. The 9" FM risers with pro taper mini highs bars put you close to 12 inches not exactly but dame close. super comfy and great looking set up. I guess pro taper hopped on the band wagon since Jim at forbidden has been pumping these out for a minute now and killing that part of the market..

Well I'm waiting for the Fat Bob, so those cabels aren't gonna work on 9" risers.
I just ordered the Metal Mulisha Protapers 'cos I thought they looked cool. But now I see that they're the Pastrana high FMX bars with something like 4-5" of rise. So I guess if I order the Joker Machine risers for the Protaper I will be right over stock height on the FB ( stock risers are 4 1/2"). Any idea if this is gonna work, or will it be too far a stretch/too agressive?

I was looking at that bend for a little while. It has a lot of upsweep and looks like it would put your wrists at a weird angle. You might be able to roll them back a little and make it better.

Got any pics of your set up? I am really diggin these. I assume you can't run the wiring through the risers though.
Was going to post a new thread but then I stumbled upon this one. If someone starts making 1.5" risers in taller lengths these could be an economical and easier option to get Pro Tapers on your Harley.
They've currently got 2 bends available, the Outlaw and TT both available in Black or Silver and drilled for internal wiring.
Risers available in Black/Chrome/Raw in 2.5" or 4.5" rise:
Just checking : does anyone get new protapers? are there any alternatives to protaper 1.5" risers? I found this one , but it it's only 6". nevermind it's also chrome
