I went into the dealer for a Low Rider and ordered a Street Bob ... the cost difference was too great to justify ordering the Low Rider ... that's the part Harley got right !
I went to my Harley dealer and wrotea check forthe Lowrider as it WAS the bike I really wanted. You can't put a price tag on having what you really want. Justification has nothing to do with it.
I think the signifigantly lower cost of the Street Bob is what attracts alot of buyers. I own an 06 Bob myself, but if cost were not a consideration I would probably choose a Wide Glide or Low Rider. JMO.
2007 FXDWGI here and love it (as I'm sure we all love our bikes). For me nothing represents HD as a wide glide. Mine is Pearl white and havent seen anything like it around here (Spain) even though she's basically stock at this point. Most Harleys are sortsters, fatboys, andthen baggers around my area. Whatever your choice is, let her thunder!
It's amazing us simple folk that can barely scrape by to afford a bob are intelligent enough to know how to use a computer. I would think all them RUB's with wide glides would be dominating this poll.
Just kidding of course. Though I did buy the bob because a wide glide was too pricey.

ok WG owners .. where are you?
perhaps all the bob owners are out of work.... we'll see more wg votes later tonight
lol, yeah, I'm just kidding around too.
I'm really amazed, I didn't realize the SB was so popular. I don't think I have seen one on the street yet - of course we only have three months of good riding weather, and most the bikes up here are Road Kings (or so it seems while going down the road)
