They work great. I installed them a few weeks ago and I'm really impressed at how well they work.
A few things to keep in mind though.
1. They are 3/8" and not 5/16" like the stock fasteners. You'll need the inner strut support with 3/8" threaded holes. I was lucky that I had some from another project.
2. Depending on your bags, you may need some sort of support plate to keep the bags off your rotor and belt guard. If your bags have a stuff backing section, you should be OK.
3. They are dependent on a very accurate hole pattern because they have a vy snug fit (it's a good thing.). It sounds like your bags are already prepared for this.

I have used Easy Brackets on an 05 FXD and my 09 FXDF. The install was simple. Once mounted I found the bags were easy to take off but, for some reason, a bit more difficult to put on. The easy brackets collect dust now. I just use throw over bags.
