not getting fire on 01 fxdwg
Start simple...don't use the "replace everything until it works" method.
I'll usually check to make sure everything is getting power and ground before I start checking the individual components themselves.
I have electrical problems.
Do you have a service manual for the bike? If so, it does have troubleshooting in there for many electrical (and mechanincal) items.

Did your bike run okay, and then just suddenly fail?
Did it run okay, sit for a long time, and then not fire?
Has it been running like cr@p, and stop firing?
I would suggest spraying all the connections with contact cleaner, or WD40.
Clean and tighten up all your ground connections, etc.
The above can't hurt anything, and may save a lot of money.........
I agree that replacing parts is not the best way to go, and the wire(s)/connections you unplug to replace the part(s) may well have been the culprit in the first place.
Good luck
