This is probably a dumb ?
When you buy exhaust, do they come without baffles? The reason I ask is, a while back I bought V&H shortshots and didn't buy a fuelpak. Well now I got the fuelpak, (bought it not here yet) and from standard baffles, to no baffles are completely different programs. So when I found the exhaust it did not say if they were quiet, standard, or no baffles. They were brand new not used. Anyway is there a way I can tell? Thanks in advance. Sorry if this is a dumb question, just want to be sure!

I bought the short shots they came with a baffle in them. I chose to buy the quiet baffles to gain a bit of torque back. To answer your question look in the end you should see a screw holding a tube around 8 inches long with little cuts all around it. If you take out the screw you can remove the baffle.

Short shots come with standard baffles. Standard baffles have no fiber wrap on them. Quiet baffles have fiber wrap on them and while they make the sound deeper and more pleasant, they don't make them much quieter.

I am sure they have baffles if you bought them new. My big shots came with baffles. Just look in the end of the pipe and you will see them. They should be held in by a small screw at the end of pipe

powervision's autotune spit out different maps for all 3 baffles. ( over 1000 miles of recording for each)
