DIY quiet baffles
I posted a message on this topic in the engine/exhaust forum and I thought I would check here also.
I use BCT baffles, but I am looking for some quiet baffles for longer rides. Anyone ever made their own quiet baffles? Is there any way to modify standard V&H longshot baffles into quiet? I want to try using what I already have vs. buying. Unless there is someone that wants to sell me some quiets cheap...

The main difference between the V&H quiet baffles and normal is the quiet baffles have a closed end while the normal are straight through. You could weld a disc on the end of the regular baffles. Also, you can experiment with various amounts of wrap.
