Default Removing lower fork

I want to remove the lower fork sliders so that I can powder coat them. How hard is it to remove the wheel and the lower bits and pieces there? I can wrench on a car pretty well but I don't know much about bikes.

Thanks

Since this is the Dyna Forum, let's assume you have a Dyna of some sort. The whole process is not very complicated, but buying the service manual makes it really easy. If you don't have a manual, I could try to scan the front fork removal process and e-mail it, just a thought, but if you're going to do any serious servicing of the bike, the manual is the way to go.
