Default Roller Rockers

I have to do the top end on my 01 WG. I got it too hot last summer and I am burning oil. I have already done the cams and they should be fine. I will do stock valves and rings for reliability. Hopefully I don't have to bore it out, but I will if I need to. My question is should I invest in the S&S roller rockers. The only real complaint I ever had with Harley is the noisy top end. My Pan was the worst, but my twinky gets pretty loud when it gets hot. I had a reputable tech say the roller rockers were for high performance motors only, but it sure seems to me they would run well it a stock motor also. I will also be installing an oil cooler. I have seen them with little fans. I would appreciate opinions on both. Thanks

Roller rockers are suppose to be more noisy than standard rockers, save your $$.

No need for stock motor save your $$$$$. Only reason I got mine is cause I got a killer deal on them used since they came with the chrome rocker covers.

As for noise I heard they maybe noisier but hearing mine I don't hear any difference( could also be cause of the loud *** baffle and built motor, HA!).
