So I decided on going with the West Coast MX-Tbars. I know I can go up to 12" with my stock cables/wiring but don't know if I want 10" or 12". So my thought is if I am unsure I should buy the 10" and then if I want to go higher down the road I can just add risers. Sound like a good idea?
get 12s seems like everyone is happy with 12-13 inch rise. go to the club style thread on here i think a forum member is having some issues with contacting west coast. if you want real MX bars you could get a set of Forbidden Risers and Protapers or if you want something completely custom that look like 1/2 MX 1/2 Tbar i think san diego customs makes them. not sure whats up with west coast maybe just some mis-communication I had a set on my old bike and it took about a hour for my buddy to go pick them up at the west coast shop.
the last 10-15 pages or so of the club style thread will tell you everything you need to know(with pics) about tbars and mx bars.
I placed an order for 12" tbars from west coast tbars. I contacted them last weekend via text message about the expected arrival date and received a text message back the same day. Then on Monday I got an email with the tracking number, I should have the bars tomorrow.
From my friends I talked to that had 10" tbars wish they had gone with 12", but everyone is different.

hmm I ordered 12" tbars on the 21st i didnt get no tracking # and nothing has shown up yet
Streetbobjoe I spent like 2 weeks being unsure..measuring ..sitting on bike..almost to the point of making mock tbars out of wood stock..and bolting to the tripple..but i decided on 12s..wanted em abouts where the stock bars are for height and by looks of others photos with the hd quarter fairing..but really just sit on your bike and see what would be more comfortable..but yeah im still waiting for mine..just sucks not knowing weather theyve shipped..or not...I hate not knowing..
if you are going for that style, i do have a set of custom CNC cut risers, they are even pre drilled internally so you can run wires though them so it is super clean, completely custom and 1 of a kind. fresh gloss black powder, and your choice of drag bars or flat trackers
Hi I'm brand new to the forum. I'm trying to put Tbars on my bike it has the risers built into the triple tree. Bung king makes some nice bars that would work my question is would the stock cables work with 14 in Tbars. The 09 has stock 12 inch mini apes and I'm thinking I will gain a little bringing the cables inward. Any thoughts or knowledge is appreciated Thank you
